While we don't generally endorse specific ion testing, when you need to test only for chloride, this is the least expensive kit on the market. It has an additional benefit of being able to run both chloride and total salts with the same sample. It utilizes the DeFelsko Posipatch system. If you have the patch-ring, the refill kit is $75.00. If you don't have the ring, you can buy it by itself for $175 or get it with the starter kit which includes 10 tests for $250.00. Quick and simple and if you have a conductivity meter you can run both chloride and salts at the same time with one test sample.
Another option is the Chloride Bresle test. Same as the other test but uses the long proven method of ISO 8502-6 - Extraction osample via Breske Patch. Everthing you need to run 5 tests. Aslo called "HoldTight" Saltproof Standard
